1. REGULATORY RISK IN ETHIOPIA
The legal treatment of cryptocurrency in Ethiopia is restrictive and evolving.
The National Bank of Ethiopia has issued warnings about crypto activity. Rules
may change with little notice and could affect your ability to trade, deposit,
or withdraw. Consider your own legal position before using this service.
2. YOU CAN LOSE MONEY
Crypto prices move. USDT aims to track the US dollar but is not guaranteed to
hold that value. The ETB/USDT rate on this platform is set by users, not by us,
and may differ from any official or market rate.
3. CRYPTO TRANSFERS ARE IRREVERSIBLE
There is no chargeback, no reversal, and no customer-service undo. If you send
to a wrong address, or use the wrong network, the funds are gone permanently.
Always check the address and the network. Send a small test amount first.
4. COUNTERPARTY RISK
You trade with other people, not with Voltex. Escrow protects the USDT side of a
trade — it does not guarantee the ETB side. Sellers: never release USDT until you
have personally confirmed the money is in your own bank or mobile-money account.
A screenshot, an SMS, or a message in chat is not proof — they are easily faked.
5. CUSTODY RISK
While your balance sits in your Voltex wallet, it is held by the operator. That
means you are exposed to the operator's security, solvency, and continued
operation. Withdraw funds you are not actively trading. Do not treat Voltex as
long-term storage.
6. ACCOUNT SECURITY IS YOURS
Anyone who gets your password can trade and withdraw as you. Use a strong, unique
password. Nobody from Voltex will ever ask for your password, or for the seed
phrase of your personal wallet. Anyone who does is trying to rob you.
7. APPEALS ARE DECIDED BY A HUMAN
When an order is appealed, the operator reviews the evidence and decides. Keep
your receipts and keep all communication inside the trade chat — off-platform
deals cannot be protected or reviewed.
8. NO ADVICE
Nothing on Voltex is financial, tax, or legal advice. You are responsible for any
taxes arising from your trading.
